Ashafa is the Crime Prevention and Counseling Officer at the Crime Prevention & Counseling Centre. He obtained a Bsc in Sociology from Bayero University Kano and then clinched a Master in Criminology & Penology at the prestigious University of Ibadan. He is currently a PhD candidate at Ahmadu Bello University. His notable projects at HOJ is the hosting of the 2018 National Day of Mourning, Kaduna Assembly and the 2019 Molluma Medico-Legal Centre Lectures.
